We are looking for an experienced Senior Barista who combines a passion for specialty coffee with strong leadership skills to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages in accordance with Harlan Coffee’s standards.
  • Lead and support baristas in daily operations, ensuring consistency in product quality and service.
  • Coach and mentor team members to strengthen coffee knowledge, beverage preparation, and customer service skills.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and workplace organization.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory, managing supplies, and minimizing product wastage.
  • Help ensure smooth store operations and an elevated customer experience.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the coffee, café, or food and beverage industry.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience, preferably in a senior barista, team leader, or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso extraction, and beverage quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, guide, and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
  • Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional hospitality.
