Job Summary:

The Architect is responsible for the planning, design, technical coordination, and overall management of restaurant projects from concept development to turnover. The role ensures that each project meets the brand’s design standards, operational requirements, local building codes, and project timelines while coordinating closely with operations, kitchen consultants, mall administrators, contractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and design solutions for restaurant projects.

* Plan efficient dining, kitchen, storage, service, and back-of-house layouts based on operational requirements.

* Prepare schematic designs, design development drawings, perspectives, and final construction documents (FCD).

* Coordinate with kitchen consultants, MEPF engineers, structural engineers, signage consultants, and other disciplines to ensure an integrated design.

* Ensure compliance with local building codes, fire and life safety regulations, accessibility requirements, and mall design guidelines.

* Coordinate with mall administrators and landlords regarding design approvals, permits, and construction requirements.

* Conduct site inspections, measurements, and feasibility studies for new and existing locations.

* Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups for compliance with approved designs.

* Provide technical support during construction and resolve design-related issues on site.

* Monitor project schedules, design deliverables, budgets, and milestones to ensure timely completion.

* Coordinate with operations, kitchen teams, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure the design supports operational efficiency and customer experience.

* Review variation orders and recommend appropriate design solutions while minimizing cost and schedule impacts.

* Conduct punch listing, quality inspections, and ensure all design requirements are completed prior to turnover.

* Prepare as-built drawings and support project closeout and turnover documentation.

* Continuously improve restaurant design standards, detailing, and construction processes based on operational feedback and lessons learned.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.

* Licensed Architect is preferred.

* Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in restaurant, retail, or commercial fit-out projects.

* Strong knowledge of restaurant planning, commercial kitchen coordination, and food service design.

* Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent software).

* Knowledge of construction detailing, materials, local building codes, and mall fit-out requirements.

* Excellent project management, coordination, and communication skills.

* Ability to manage multiple restaurant projects simultaneously.

Pay: Php38,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
