Summary

We are seeking a Branch Cashier / Accounting Associate who will be responsible for handling daily payments, collections, PDCs, OR/AR issuance, and other accounting-related activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and highly accurate when handling financial transactions.

Responsibilities

- Handle and process cash, check, and credit card payments and issue Official Receipts (OR).

- Receive and monitor Post-Dated Checks (PDCs) and prepare Acknowledgement Receipts (AR).

- Check client account balances, policy details, and outstanding amounts before processing payments.

- Coordinate with the Credit & Collection Unit and Head Office regarding payment and PDC transactions.

- Prepare daily collection reports and ensure all required documents are complete and properly filed.

- Ensure daily collections are properly deposited and recorded in the financial system.

- Process BIR Form 2307 and maintain accurate financial records.

- Perform daily petty cash counting and reconciliation.

- Maintain organized documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth and timely processing of transactions.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related business course.

- At least 2 years of relevant experience in cashiering, credit control, or accounting operations.

- Must have actual cashiering experience in an insurance company or within the insurance industry.

- Experience handling insurance-related transactions, such as premium payments, policy payments, OR issuance, PDCs, and client account balances.

- Proficient in MS Excel and financial/accounting systems.

- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Good communication and organizational skills.

- Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
