Full job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our client's engineering team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise in support of fabrication and manufacturing operations — creating accurate drawings, managing CAD files, and ensuring every design meets quality and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Drafting

  • Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for fabrication and manufacturing projects
  • Perform equipment layout duties including tubing and piping routing, component placement, and system functionality review
  • Create, manage, and control CAD files, supporting documentation, and prints
  • Import and export files for use across related engineering programs

Quality & Standards

  • Ensure drawing and information integrity in full compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Uphold professional and technical communication standards across all documentation and team interactions
  • Apply established drafting theory and standards consistently throughout all deliverables

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the VP of Engineering, project engineers, and operations personnel throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Communicate clearly and proactively across teams to support seamless project execution

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of drafting experience using Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD Plant 3D
  • 2–3 years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Inventor including 3D modeling, assembly construction, and print layout
  • Advanced knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD, AutoCAD P&ID, and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Highly adaptive to new concepts, tools, and techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with piping and instrumentation design in an industrial setting
  • Familiarity with cross-functional engineering workflows and documentation control
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments

Work Schedule & Availability

  • Adherence to the client’s time zone and schedule is a must

Pay: Php300.00 per hour
