Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, test, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using testing instruments.
  • Install new electrical wiring, machinery, motors, transformers, switchboards, and distribution panels.
  • Replace defective electrical components, including switches, outlets, fuses, and wiring.
  • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications for installations and repairs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
  • Prepare material estimates and requisitions for electrical projects.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and hospital standards.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Trade or Vocational course related to Electrical Technology or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable in electrical systems, blueprint reading, and building safety codes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, installation, and repair skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency situations.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
