Full job description

Salary: PHP 45,000 to 75,000 per month, depending on experience.

Read this before you apply

We are not looking for the most experienced media buyer who applies. We are looking for someone with good character who learns fast, has real hands on time in Meta or Google Ads, and wants to get very good at this inside a system that already works.

That last part matters more than anything else on this page.

How we run media buying

Growth Mate runs on written doctrine. Our Meta accounts follow a fixed campaign structure with defined rules for when a winner gets scaled and when an ad gets paused. Our Google accounts run a four lane build covering brand, non brand, shopping and Performance Max. Creative gets scored on hook rate, click through rate and retention before anyone offers an opinion about whether an ad is good.

On top of that we run an in-house system built on Claude, Anthropic's AI. Every morning it pulls the account data, scores the ads, checks spend pacing against target, flags fatigue and frequency problems, and stages a decision sheet for each client before anyone opens a laptop.

You review that sheet, you execute the changes in Meta and Google, and you log what you decided so the system learns whether the call was right.

So the job is not inventing an approach. The approach exists and it works. The job is running it well, noticing when something looks wrong, and getting sharper every week. We will teach you the rest, and we are genuinely good at teaching it.

Who this suits

Someone a year or so into paid media who knows they are decent and knows they are not finished. Someone who has picked up AI tools and got faster, rather than feeling threatened by them. Someone who would rather learn a proven system than defend their own.

Who this does not suit

If you have four years at another agency and a playbook you are attached to, this will frustrate both of us. Our system is not up for renegotiation in your first month. You can absolutely help develop it, and people here have changed real parts of how we work. You earn that by running it well first.

What you will do

  • Work a set of client accounts every day: spend pacing against monthly budget, cost per acquisition and ROAS against target, disapproved ads, payment and delivery problems.
  • Review the staged decision sheet each morning and turn it into executed changes in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads. Pause the losers, scale the winners, move budget where the sheet says it should go.
  • Raise your hand when the sheet looks wrong. Stale data and broken exports happen, and catching one is worth more to us than a clean day of execution.
  • Build and launch new campaigns and ad sets to our structure, then check them before they go live: naming, tracking parameters, placements, landing page, budget.
  • Manage search terms and negative keyword lists, watch Quality Score, and keep shopping feeds clean.
  • Write the weekly performance update for your accounts in plain language a store owner understands.
  • Escalate fast. A payment failure or a tracking outage gets flagged within minutes, not at the end of the day.

What you need

  • Six to twelve months of real hands on time inside Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads. Agency, freelance, in house, an internship, or running ads for your own store all count.
  • Enough platform time to know when a number is wrong. This is the one thing we cannot teach quickly. If a report says an ad spent nothing yesterday and you know it was running fine, we need you to notice and ask, rather than execute.
  • You have used AI tools in real work and they made you faster.
  • Written English strong enough to explain a bad week to a client without hiding behind jargon.
  • Availability from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM Manila time, Monday to Friday. Our clients are in the US, UK and Australia and the overlap is not optional.
  • A stable internet connection and a computer that can hold twenty browser tabs open without dying.

What we care about more than your resume

  • You do what you said you would do, by when you said you would do it.
  • You can say "I got that wrong" without being cornered into it first.
  • When someone corrects you, you change what you do rather than explain why you were right.
  • You ask when you are unsure, and you ask early rather than after it costs money.
  • You notice things nobody asked you to notice.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Shopify, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Klaviyo or Merchant Center.
  • You have touched both Meta and Google rather than only one.
  • Meta or Google certifications.
  • Ecommerce experience specifically, rather than only lead generation or local services.

What you get

  • PHP 45,000 to 75,000 per month depending on experience, paid monthly.
  • Fully remote, permanent.
  • Paid access to courses and certifications, and a real training budget.
  • Direct mentorship from the founder and senior buyers, with weekly one to one time.
  • A defined progression path to Senior Media Buyer. We promote from inside.
  • Real accounts and real budgets from your first month. No shadowing for a quarter.

How to apply

Answer the application questions properly. We read them before we read the resume.

Send a portfolio or case studies. It does not need to be big or polished. Screenshots of an Ads Manager view beat a designed PDF. One account you personally worked on, what the budget was, and what happened to the numbers is enough. A small account you actually ran is worth more to us than a large one you watched someone else run. If results were confidential, describe them without naming the client.

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: Remote

Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php75,000.00 per month

Benefits:

  • Opportunities for promotion
  • Paid training
  • Work from home

Application Question(s):

  • This role works 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM Manila time, Monday to Friday, to overlap with clients in the US, UK and Australia. Can you commit to that schedule?
  • Share a link to your portfolio or case studies. It does not need to be big or polished, and screenshots of an Ads Manager view are fine. For one account you personally worked on, tell us the platform, roughly what the budget was, and what happened to the numbers. A small account you actually ran counts for more than a large one you watched. If results were confidential, describe them without naming the client.
  • You are told to pause an ad because the report shows it spent nothing yesterday and got no sales. You remember it was running fine the day before. What do you do next, and why?
  • Tell us about a time someone showed you that your way of doing something was wrong, or that there was a better way. What did you actually do after that conversation?
  • Which AI tools do you currently use in your work, and what exactly do you use them for? If you do not use any yet, write 'none'. That is an acceptable answer and will not disqualify you.
