Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Wellness Officer (Company Nurse) to join our team. This role plays a vital part in safeguarding employee health and well-being by providing basic healthcare services, promoting wellness initiatives, and ensuring compliance with workplace health standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic healthcare and administer first aid, prescribed medication, and treatment when needed.
  • Organize and coordinate annual employee physicals and medical exams with healthcare providers.
  • Promote wellness and healthcare awareness by providing lifestyle recommendations, one-on-one guidance, and company-wide health sessions.
  • Monitor and evaluate employees’ overall health, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain and organize accurate employee health records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Prepare health reports and make recommendations on wellness initiatives to management.
  • Support workplace health and safety programs in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, with active PHRN license
  • Preferably with certifications in First Aid Training, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).
  • Strong first aid and emergency response skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in medical situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and empathetic bedside manner.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage employee health records efficiently.
  • Willing to report onsite in Dumaguete.
