Payroll Specialist - Part Time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide regular updates and payroll bi-weekly
  • Reviewing timesheets 3x a week
  • Cross referencing timesheets to the schedule
  • Generating a weekly labor hour report
  • Tracking non-paid labor that we get from the state (TSEs - Transitional Subsidized Employment)
  • Additional labor related tracking and analysis tasks will be given in the future
  • Prepares payroll and all payroll tax returns on a timely basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience with payroll or accounting role
  • Good Excel skills (intermediate level) to create reports and provide analysis
  • Paycom experience is required
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions and payroll returns.
  • Works with confidential information and keeps matters confidential.
  • Education: Accounting or Finance
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and payroll systems, Paycom experience (preferred)
  • Other Skills: Analytical and critical thinking, accuracy, time management, communication
  • Analytical and critical thinking - Ability to perform variance analysis, data reconciliation and complex problem-solving.
  • Accuracy - Ability to perform data verification and precise calculation with strong attention to detail
  • Time Management - Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and handle urgent payroll requirements.
  • Communication - Ability to communicate clearly and in a timely manner while handling sensitive information with confidentiality.

Shift / Hours:

The Payroll Specialist will work 4 hours daily from Monday - Friday between 11:00 PM PST – 8:00 AM PST within Daylight Savings Time and 12:00 AM PST – 9:00 PM PST outside of Daylight Savings Time in one single shift. Note this is +15 or +16 hours Philippine time, which is 3:00 PM PHT – 12:00 AM PHT. Payroll specialists will adhere to a consistent schedule once it is determined.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php22,000.00 per month
