JOB SUMMARY

This position contributes to the success of Our Little Café by preparing quality food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and supporting smooth daily operations. This is a hands-on role responsible for food preparation, cooking, service support, dishwashing, inventory monitoring, and maintaining food safety standards. The Kitchen Staff works independently in a small café environment while collaborating closely with the front-of-house team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and cook menu items according to café recipes and quality standards
• Perform food preparation, portioning, and ingredient organization before and during service
• Prepare staff meals as scheduled
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times
• Monitor inventory levels and report items that require replenishment
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure efficient service
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment with proper care
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing deliveries
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in a café, restaurant, or small kitchen is preferred
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable performing food preparation, cooking, dishwashing, and cleaning
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit for prolonged standing, lifting, and kitchen work
• Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail
• Willing to learn and continuously improve

WORK SCHEDULE

• Full-time
• Six (6) days per week
• Most important shifts are Saturdays & Sundays
• 7:30 AM Opening Shift or 10:30AM Closing Shift
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• PHP 700 to PHP 1,000 per day, depending on qualifications and experience
