Job Overview

  • Position: Junior Security Operations Center
  • Location: Pasay City
  • Company Industry: IT and BPO Industry
  • Work Setup: Hybrid (Work from home, but go to the office 1 to 2 times a month)
  • Salary: Php 50,000 and above (before taxes and deductions)

Requirements

  • A college degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • At least 6 months of experience in cybersecurity or a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of open-source intelligence (OSINT), malware analysis, and common security tools.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and the Diamond Model.
  • Good English communication, research, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Research cyber threats, hackers, and new attack methods.
  • Study malware, suspicious files, and security traces using specialized tools.
  • Write simple, clear threat reports and notes on hacker behavior.
  • Build rules (using YARA, Sigma, or Snort) to help systems spot threats.
  • Follow company policies on data privacy and security.
