About the role

Translate written and verbal content between Mandarin, English, and Tagalog. Ensure translations are accurate, natural, culturally appropriate, and easy to understand. Adapt translations according to different cultural contexts and target audiences. Support media-related content, including scripts, articles, captions, interviews, and other materials.

Key responsibilities

• Translate written and verbal content between Mandarin, English, and Tagalog
• Ensure translations are accurate, natural, culturally appropriate, and easy to understand
• Assist with content editing, proofreading, and quality checking
• Adapt translations according to different cultural contexts and target audiences
• Support media-related content, including scripts, articles, captions, interviews, and other materials
• Coordinate with the media, production, or content team when necessary
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and materials
• Perform other translation and language-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree holder (Required)
• 3-5 years of experience as a Translator, Interpreter, Editor, or Language Specialist
• Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Tagalog (written and spoken)
• Strong understanding of Chinese, Filipino, and international cultures
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills
• Experience in media, content creation, journalism, video production, or editing is a plus

Pay: Php28,712.31 - Php88,020.57 per month
