The Nazareth School of Lipa City, Inc. is looking for a Guidance Associate

Job Summary:

Orients students about rules and regulations and practices, guides them in their proper behavior. Prepares, administers and interprets various guidance tests and conducts research. Extends basic guidance services which include counseling, information (academic, personal-social), career guidance and placement. Coordinates homeroom guidance classes.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assists in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the Homeroom Guidance Program and other guidance services.

2. Maintains and updates the student records and other documents related to guidance and counseling.

3. Plans and coordinates guidance activities like career program, mental health training, evaluating student’s attributes, etc.

4. Provides technical assistance to class advisers and other guidance services or interventions to learners without violating the provisions stipulated in the RA 9258 The Guidance and Counseling Act of 2004.

5. Prepares student’s referral when needed to the authorized personnel in the school.

6. Keeps an organized file of all guidance records like Student Individual Inventory, anecdotal records, and disciplinary records.

7. Maintains the confidentiality of all the student’s data and records.

8. Performs all other duties and responsibilities germane to the position and any other tasks assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling or a related field.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.

- Highly developed emotional intelligence.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, Observation skills and effective communication.

Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php17,000.00 per month
