Position Title: Nurse (Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Laboratory)
Location: The Medical City Clark
Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cardiovascular Nurse to provide specialized care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. In this role, you will monitor patients, assist with cardiac procedures, and deliver compassionate, high-standard critical care within our cardiac unit.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree in Nursing.
- Licensure & Certifications:
- Valid Philippine Registered Nurse (PRN) license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
- Active membership in good standing with an accredited professional clinical nursing organization and a cardiovascular specialty nursing organization.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of autonomous clinical practice experience capable of working unsupervised, with at least 2 years of direct clinical experience handling and managing cardiovascular patients in a specialized nursing unit.
- Competencies: Strong proficiency in ECG monitoring, hemodynamic tracking, post-operative cardiac care, and emergency resuscitation protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients with acute or chronic cardiovascular conditions.
- Administer specialized cardiac medications and manage complex intravenous lines and medical equipment.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on heart-healthy lifestyles, medication management, and post-discharge recovery plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and rapid emergency response.
