Job Summary

The Office Staff is responsible for supporting payroll preparation and processing employee benefits, ensuring accurate and timely payroll computation and documentation. The role also handles the processing, filing, and completion of TESDA-related requirements/documents, maintaining organized records and compliance with internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Support

  • Encode and compile payroll inputs (e.g., attendance/timekeeping updates, overtime, leaves, deductions).
  • Assist in computing payroll based on approved company guidelines (as directed by HR/Finance).
  • Prepare payroll documents and support payroll releases (payslips, payroll lists, summary reports).
  • Ensure payroll accuracy by verifying employee data (rate, position, status, deductions).
  • Coordinate with employees/supervisors regarding payroll concerns and document requirements.
  • Maintain payroll records confidentially and in an organized manner.

Benefits Processing

  • Assist in processing employee benefits and related documentation (e.g., enrollment, updates, status changes).
  • Track eligibility and required documentary requirements for benefits.
  • Prepare and submit forms/reports for benefits processing as assigned.
  • Support documentation for benefit claims, reimbursements, and employee updates.
  • Keep benefits files up to date and properly filed.

TESDA Document Processing (Training/Accreditation Support)

  • Process and assist with TESDA document requirements for training programs/qualification processing (as applicable).
  • Encode, compile, and check completeness of TESDA forms and supporting documents.
  • Ensure accuracy of submitted information and compliance with TESDA document standards.
  • Maintain organized TESDA records (hard copy and/or digital files), including version control.
  • Coordinate with concerned internal departments and external parties for document completion.
  • Submit TESDA documents and track submission status until completion.
  • Prepare summaries/status reports of TESDA document processing activities.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • High school graduate (or higher); TESDA-related experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of basic payroll concepts and data encoding/record management.
  • Familiarity with benefits documentation and employee record handling.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word; able to create and maintain spreadsheets and simple reports.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with HR/Finance teams.
  • Must be able to handle confidential employee information responsibly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
