Job Description:

• Teach students about journalism and mass communication theories, methods, and principles.
• Engage with the broader community, speaking at conferences and events, and working with industry partners to promote journalism education.
• Develop and deliver course content, including lectures, assignments, and assessments.

• Demonstrate substantial knowledge of theory and content in subjects of specialization for the student's year level.
• Carefully and methodically plan lessons and hold classes in a systematic yet interesting manner.
• Develop and utilize appropriate student-centered classroom activities.
• Adapt to the varying learning styles, needs and abilities of the students.
• Fully adhere to the institutional policies on courseware usage
• Maintain a clear and orderly academic record of students performance.
• Promptly, accurately, and properly submit grade reports of all classes.

Qualification:

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Communication Arts, Journalism or any related field
• With master's degree aligned with the field of specialization is an advantage
• Relevant teaching experience is an advantage
• Relevant industry experience is an advantage
• Willing to work on a full-time position
• Willing to work onsite
