The Cashiers serve as the primary transaction processors and operators of the store’s Point-of-Sale (POS) system. They are accountable for ensuring swift and efficient customer purchases while safeguarding all payments received at the counter.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and maintain the POS system and credit card terminals.
• Process and record transactions accurately; manage change funds and cashiering procedures.
• Safeguard cash, receipts, gift certificates, and other payment documents.
• Perform opening and closing duties and assist with cash deposits and bank remittances.
• Maintain a clean, organized cash wrap area and ensure adequate supplies and forms.
• Issue manual invoices when needed and prepare required reports and documents.
• Follow customer service standards and report cash discrepancies immediately.
• Assist with store operations, promotions, special selling events, and merchandising activities.

Daily Checklist

• Power on and check the POS and card terminal.
• Verify change fund and test the money detector.
• Check manual invoice booklets and counter supplies, including packaging and receipts.
• Ensure the counter area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with impulse items.
• Complete required daily sales and credit card summary reports.

Qualification:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Vocational Graduate any related courses, or Senior High School Graduate
• Computer literate
• With experience in processing or transacting thru POS (Point-of-Sale)
• Experience in Cashiering is required
• Inclined in Sports is an advantage
• Willing to work mall hours schedule, including weekends and holidays
