Position Overview

AGL is seeking an experienced Air Export Coordinator to support our U.S. operations during overnight hours in the Philippines.

This role is ideal for experienced freight forwarding professionals who want long-term growth with a specialized U.S.-based logistics company.

The successful candidate will work directly with U.S. customers, airlines, truckers, overseas agents, and internal operations teams while operating on U.S. business hours.

This is a high-responsibility operations role focused heavily on:

• Air export logistics
• Perishable cargo coordination
• Airline bookings
• Time-critical shipment management
• Customer communication
• Export documentation accuracy

We are specifically looking for candidates with real operational experience — not purely administrative support experience.

Work Schedule

• Full-time
• Graveyard / Night Shift (Philippines Time)
• Must be able to operate during U.S. business hours
• Occasional overtime may be required during operational disruptions or urgent shipments

Key ResponsibilitiesAir Export Operations

• Coordinate the full export lifecycle for international air shipments
• Arrange airline bookings and monitor cargo movement
• Coordinate with truckers, warehouses, airlines, and overseas agents
• Ensure shipments depart on schedule and proactively manage exceptions

Perishable Cargo Management

• Handle time-sensitive and temperature-controlled cargo
• Monitor routing, transit times, and airline performance
• Ensure proper handling requirements are communicated and maintained
• Respond quickly to shipment delays, offloads, or operational issues

Freight Rating & Capacity Coordination

• Prepare accurate freight quotations
• Understand:
• Actual Weight
• Dimensional Weight (DWT)
• Chargeable Weight (CWT)
• Evaluate routing and airline capacity options
• Coordinate space protection for urgent cargo

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and review export shipping documents including:
• HAWB / MAWB
• Commercial Invoices
• Packing Lists
• AES filings
• SLI documentation
• Ensure compliance airline requirements

Customer Communication

• Provide proactive shipment updates to customers and partners
• Respond professionally under time-sensitive conditions
• Maintain strong communication with U.S.-based operations teams

Process Improvement

• Help improve workflows and operational efficiency
• Identify recurring issues and propose solutions
• Maintain accurate operational records within the company system

Required QualificationsRequired Experience

• Minimum 3 years of freight forwarding or air export operations experience
• Experience handling international air shipments
• Strong understanding of export documentation and air freight processes
• Experience communicating with airlines and overseas agents

Strongly Preferred

• Experience handling perishables or temperature-sensitive cargo
• Experience working U.S. shifts for logistics or freight forwarding companies
• Familiarity with airline cargo booking systems
• Experience with Descartes OneView or similar TMS software

Technical Skills

Pay: Php55,000.00 - Php85,000.00 per month
