Our Lady of the Pillar Medical Center invites competent individuals to fill in the Cafeteria Supervisor (Reliever) position

EDUCATION:

Preferably a graduate of Nutritionist-Dietitian or graduate or any four year relevant degree

JOB DESCRIPTION

Primarily responsible for the over-all supervision and direction of Cafeteria Department..

Supervises the daily activities of all Cafeteria Staff (Cook, Assistant Cook, Cashier, and Food Servers).

TECHNICAL (SKILLS)

  • Establishes and enforces a comprehensive set of food safety regulations, both in the production and food service area
  • Supervises food preparation
  • Supervises the production and distribution of food served in the hospital.
  • Supervises the menu and production orders for the kitchen staff, and oversees the quality of the food.
  • Prepares weekly market list of ingredients needed in the kitchen operations.
  • Requests needed supplies and other items for the Cafeteria Operations that needs to be purchased or replace.
  • Monitors the inventory of all Cafeteria Supplies.
  • Prepares work schedule of all Cafeteria Staff.
  • Prepares and serves Notice to Explain (NTE) to erring employee/s for any NonConformity Report (NCR) case's reported by the Quality Management Division (QMD) or through the initiative of the department/section to correct noncompliance to processes or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conducts investigation as part of the due process.
  • Prepares reports, memos and communications to other departments concerned regarding cafeteria operation.
