As a Restaurant and Events Sales Officer you'll handle the management of restaurant reservations, promote events, build client relationships, and ensure successful event execution, all while contributing to revenue generation and guest satisfaction. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the role:Responsibilities:

Reservation Management:

  • Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, or online channels.
  • Provide information about restaurant availability, menus, pricing, and special events.
  • Assist guests in making and modifying reservations.
  • Maintain accurate reservation records and communicate details to the restaurant team.

Event Sales & Promotion:

  • Promote and sell private dining events, catering services, and other special events.
  • Generate leads and build relationships with potential clients, including event planners, corporations, and community organizations.
  • Develop and implement event sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct site inspections and presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize event details.

Event Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event clients.
  • Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth event execution, including menu planning, staffing, and logistics.
  • Manage event budgets and track expenses.
  • Maintain Banquet Event Order (BEO) paperwork and ensure accurate communication of event details.
