The position will primarily function as a CCTV operator and compliance monitor. The successful candidate will monitor daily workplace activities, verify whether employees perform their assigned duties according to company standards, identify safety or security concerns, and submit factual and confidential reports to the President.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage in authorized office, warehouse, and operational areas.
Observe daily employee activities and verify compliance with assigned duties, work schedules, company procedures, and safety requirements.
Conduct regular workplace inspections and operational spot checks.
Audit whether assigned tasks have been completed according to company standards.
Identify possible negligence, incomplete work, unsafe practices, unauthorized activities, security breaches, and other operational concerns.
Review CCTV footage in relation to reported incidents or upon Management’s instruction.
Prepare accurate daily monitoring and compliance reports for the President.
Immediately report serious incidents, security threats, unsafe conditions, theft, damage, or significant violations.
Document observations using CCTV timestamps, photographs, inspection findings, and other available supporting records.
Preserve relevant CCTV footage and incident evidence according to company procedures.
Recommend practical corrective and preventive measures for recurring issues.
Maintain strict confidentiality of CCTV recordings, employee information, investigations, and management reports.
Coordinate with HR, Administration, Operations, Warehouse, Trucking, and security personnel when necessary.
Assist with safety inspections, incident investigations, emergency drills, and security assessments.
Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the President.

Qualifications

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Criminology.
Registered Criminologist is preferred but not required.
Experience in CCTV monitoring, security operations, investigation, loss prevention, workplace inspection, or compliance auditing is an advantage.
Having any of the following training or certifications is an advantage:
Occupational Safety and Health training
Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH)
Safety Officer 1 (SO1)
Safety Officer 2 (SO2)
First Aid or Basic Life Support
Knowledge of CCTV systems, incident documentation, evidence handling, security procedures, and workplace safety is an advantage.
Computer literate and capable of preparing clear written reports.
Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, or extended hours when operationally required.

Important Role Reminder

The Security and Safety Officer is responsible for observing, documenting, verifying, and reporting workplace concerns. Disciplinary decisions will remain subject to Management review and the company’s established due-process procedures.
