Area of Assignment: Philippine Red Cross,Rizal Chapter Blood Center

Job Summary

  • Perform various laboratory examinations on collected blood as mandated by the Department of Health on all blood units for transfusion
  • Carry out proper storage and issuance of blood and blood components.
  • Perform serological tests for out-patients and PRC staff referred by the NBC Clinical laboratory
  • Perform the function of phlebotomist or receptionist whenever necessary
  • Keeps accurate records and provides reports on laboratory activities

Qualification Skills:

  • Registered Medical Technologist
  • Preferably with minimum of 1 year practical experience as a Medical Technologist
  • Experienced working in blood center is an advantage
