About the role
JUNE EATERY is a neighborhood eatery, bistro and natural wine bar set in the heart of BGC. Cuisine is Western with touches of Nordic, Modern New Zealand, and French-Italian influences.
In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.
What you'll be doing
- Welcoming and greeting customers warmly upon arrival
- Providing friendly and attentive table service, including taking orders, serving food and drinks, and clearing tables
- Ensuring the dining area is clean, organised and well-stocked at all times
- Responding promptly and courteously to customer requests and feedback
- Assisting with kitchen preparation tasks as needed
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of our menu, specials and dining policies
- Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene standards
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a waiter, server or front of house staff in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-focused attitude
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
- A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
