FRONT OF HOUSE (FOH)

Job Summary

Front of House (FOH) staff are responsible for delivering excellent customer service and guest experience from arrival to departure. They serve as the face of the restaurant, ensuring smooth coordination between guests and kitchen operations while maintaining fine dining service standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Reception & Seating

  • Warmly welcome guests upon arrival
  • Manage reservations and walk-in guests
  • Escort guests to their tables and present menus
  • Maintain waiting lists during peak hours

2. Food & Beverage Service

  • Present menu items, daily specials, and promotions
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders
  • Serve food and drinks following fine dining standards (sequence, etiquette, timing)
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal

3. Customer Service Excellence

  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally
  • Provide personalized recommendations
  • Ensure a positive and memorable dining experience
  • Handle special requests (dietary restrictions, celebrations, VIP guests)

4. Table Setup & Dining Area Maintenance

  • Prepare tables (mise en place) according to restaurant standards
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper arrangement of dining areas
  • Reset tables efficiently after each guest
  • Maintain hygiene and sanitation compliance

5. Coordination with Kitchen & Team

  • Communicate orders clearly to kitchen staff
  • Coordinate timing of food service
  • Work closely with bartenders, runners, and other FOH staff
  • Assist in smooth service flow during peak hours

. Billing & Payment Processing

  • Prepare and present bills accurately
  • Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments
  • Ensure proper issuance of receipts (BIR-compliant if applicable)
  • Assist in POS system transaction

Qualifications

  • At least Senior High School graduate; College level preferred
  • With experience in restaurant or hospitality industry (fine dining experience is an advantage)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-oriented and presentable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible with shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php695.00 - Php700.00 per day
