Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional, and personalized guest service
- Demonstrate full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation
- Offer detailed descriptions of daily specials and seasonal dishes
- Provide expert recommendations on food and wine pairings
- Follow proper fine dining service standards (coursing, wine service, table maintenance, etc.)
- Maintain table cleanliness through attentive table maintenance and crumb service
- Accurately take and input orders into POS system
- Coordinate timing of courses with kitchen and support staff
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain clean and polished service stations
Qualifications
- Previous fine dining or upscale restaurant experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and food pairings
- Understanding of formal service techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
