Job Summary

Las Tres Marias Restaurant is looking for friendly, dependable, attentive, organized, and responsible individuals to join our team as Service Crew / Front of House (FOH) for our Sta. Mesa dine-in branch.

As part of the Front of House team, you are one of the first people our guests interact with. We are looking for individuals who can provide warm and professional customer service while maintaining accuracy in order-taking, POS transactions, payments, table service, and branch operations.

Previous restaurant experience is an advantage but not required. Training will be provided. What matters most is your willingness to learn, ability to follow instructions, attention to detail, honesty, professionalism, and ability to communicate properly with guests and teammates.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Dine-In Operations

• Greet and acknowledge guests promptly upon arrival.
• Assist guests with seating, menus, orders, and other reasonable requests.
• Maintain a friendly, attentive, and professional attitude.
• Take customer orders accurately and repeat orders for confirmation.
• Be familiar with menu items, serving sizes, current availability, and promotions.
• Provide proper table service and regularly check if guests need assistance.
• Handle customer concerns respectfully and escalate concerns to the supervisor when necessary.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly.
• Help maintain a welcoming and organized dining area.

POS, Cashiering & Payments

• Enter orders accurately using the company POS system.
• Follow proper procedures for cash, QRPH, card, and other approved payment methods.
• Verify bills, discounts, payments, and change before completing transactions.
• Follow company procedures for voids, cancellations, refunds, discounts, and split bills.
• Ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Follow the company policy of No Ticket, No Food.
• Report payment, POS, or transaction problems immediately.

Order Accuracy & Coordination

• Coordinate properly with BOH/kitchen staff regarding guest orders.
• Check orders before serving or releasing them to customers.
• Ensure special requests are properly communicated.
• Help monitor preparation times and follow up on delayed orders.
• Assist with dine-in, takeout, pickup, and delivery orders as assigned.
• Follow proper procedures for GrabFood and other delivery-platform orders when assigned.

Cleanliness & Branch Readiness

• Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, counters, cashier area, and other FOH areas.
• Complete assigned opening and closing procedures.
• Keep service stations organized, clean, and properly stocked.
• Follow hygiene, grooming, and sanitation requirements.
• Use slow periods productively by cleaning, restocking, checking supplies, and preparing the branch for guests.

Reports & Operational Responsibilities

• Complete required FOH reports accurately and on time.
• Report shortages, discrepancies, customer complaints, equipment concerns, and operational problems immediately.
• Follow current company SOPs, checklists, memorandums, and supervisor instructions.
• Assist with inventory or stock verification when assigned.
• Cooperate with supervisors and other team members during busy periods.

Qualifications

• At least High School Graduate.
• With or without restaurant experience; training will be provided.
• Experience as service crew, cashier, server, receptionist, or restaurant staff is an advantage.
• Friendly and comfortable communicating with customers.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Detail-oriented, especially in order-taking, POS transactions, payments, and reports.
• Able to work efficiently during busy periods.
• Organized, responsible, and dependable.
• Honest and accountable when handling cash, payments, company property, and records.
• Willing to learn the menu, POS system, service procedures, and company standards.
• Able to work independently while cooperating with teammates.
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically capable of prolonged standing and normal restaurant service duties.

Guest Service: Guests must be greeted and acknowledged promptly. Ignoring guests, rude behavior, or intentionally providing poor service is not acceptable.

Honesty and Integrity: Dishonesty, cash or POS manipulation, deliberate falsification of reports, unauthorized discounts, and concealment of transaction errors are strictly prohibited.

Order and Payment Accuracy: Orders, bills, discounts, payments, voids, cancellations, and refunds must follow approved procedures.

Attendance and Punctuality: Employees must report according to their official schedule and follow proper absence and attendance-reporting procedures.

Professional Appearance: Employees must follow company uniform, grooming, hygiene, and workplace-decorum standards.

Proper Communication: Customer concerns, order mistakes, payment issues, shortages, and operational problems must be reported promptly.

Willingness to Learn: Employees are expected to accept constructive feedback, undergo training, ask when unsure, and demonstrate improvement.

Teamwork and Professionalism: Respectful communication and cooperation with FOH, BOH, supervisors, management, delivery riders, and guests are expected.
