Full job description

Responsible for accurately processing customer purchases through the POS system, handling payments, and balancing cash at the end of each shift. Ensures smooth cashier operations and supports the dining team when needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately and promptly in the POS system.
  • Handle payments (cash, cards, gift certificates) and verify IDs/privilege cards when required.
  • Present bills, answer customer inquiries, and provide feedback forms.
  • Manage petty cash and ensure sufficient change fund daily.
  • Perform opening and closing cashier duties, including cash counting and bank deposits.
  • Assist servers during peak hours and coordinate delivery orders with riders.
  • Monitor inventory of cashier supplies (e.g., thermal paper) and request replenishment.
  • Answer calls/messages professionally regarding reservations and inquiries.
  • Prepare cashier-related reports (tips, incentives, credit card reports, attendance).
  • Maintain professionalism and teamwork with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Perform other cashier-related tasks as assigned by management.
