Restaurant Cafe Manager jobs

The Black Bean is looking for a results-oriented Cafe Manager to lead daily operations at our HQ. You will own the guest experience, the team, and the outlet's numbers. The ideal candidate has a strong track record running a high-volume establishment, managing a P&L, and building teams that deliver consistently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee overall restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient daily performance
• Prepare, analyze, and monitor Profit and Loss (P&L) reports to hit sales and profitability targets
• Control food cost, labor cost, waste, and inventory levels to maximize profitability
• Prepare reports, presentations, and operational updates
• Ensure all restaurant activities comply with company policies, food safety standards, and legal regulations
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop employees to maintain high-performing teams
• Conduct regular employee evaluations and provide coaching, feedback, and performance improvement plans
• Supervise and motivate employees to ensure productivity, professionalism, and excellent guest service
• Ensure sufficient manpower, materials, equipment, and resources are available at all times
• Resolve operational and customer concerns promptly and professionally
• Maintain excellent dining standards, cleanliness, and overall restaurant presentation
• Coordinate with the kitchen, commissary, and support teams to ensure seamless operations
• Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement
• Handle scheduling, manpower planning, and team performance monitoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, or a related course is an advantage
• At least 5 years of cafe / restaurant management experience, with at least 3 years as Restaurant Manager or Outlet Manager of a full-service or high-volume cafe/restaurant
• Proven track record of managing a P&L and achieving sales and cost targets
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong presentation, leadership, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and time management skills
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
