* Responsible for phlebotomy procedures and follows work flows systems for specimen processing to all sections of the laboratory

* Helps maintain quality control of the reagents and equipment within the section guided by company's Quality Control Assurance Program

* Helps maintain and update inventory control of all laboratory equipment, on use supplies and reagents in the assigned section

* Supervises the assigned personnel on proper handling and disposal of biohazard waste material coming from the assigned section

* Performs routine, special and stat procedures of the available tests/assay on the assigned section of the laboratory

* Access on the use of LIS on the following: scope of all laboratory tests and other data relative to all tests, Worksheets, Quality Controls, Results Entries, Releasing & Printing of Results

* Use of the following instruments: Cobas 6000, CA50,D10, Sysmex XN330, AVL 9180, Statfax (EIA Microplate Reader), Pipettors, Centrifuge, Microscope, Vortex Mixer, Autoclave, Streamline Biosafety Cabinet, Incubator, Vitros.

* Monitoring of records to ensure compliance to the system

* Performs preventive maintenance of the equipment with proper documentation and maintain orderliness and safety on the assigned working area by following the guidelines under the Standard Operating Procedure manual

* Perform other duties that may be assigned by higher authority
