Core Responsibilities:

• Properly collect, organize, process, review, handle, and transport blood and other biological specimens in strict accordance with established protocols and standard operating procedures; provide clear instructions to patients or guardians regarding proper specimen collection.

• Perform venipuncture with a “one-hit” objective; explain the procedure, potential complications, and post-procedure care, including remedies for adverse events such as hematoma.

• Prepare complete, accurate, legible, and timely laboratory forms, system entries, and patient records.

• Perform a full range of clinical laboratory examinations in the fields of hematology, clinical chemistry, immunology, microbiology, molecular diagnostics, histopathology, and microscopy, utilizing manual, semi-automated, and automated methods on blood, urine, stool, cultures, and other body fluids.

• Conduct onsite, mobile, and home service testing, including examinations for Annual Physical Examinations (APE) and satellite clinics.

• Perform drug testing (pre-employment, random, and confirmatory) and such other specialized procedures as may be required.

• Execute quality control procedures and adhere to quality assurance protocols, including participation in External Quality Assessment Scheme (EQAS) activities, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.

• Perform regular calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repair of laboratory instruments and analyzers in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.

• Efficiently manage laboratory supplies, including inventory control, forecasting, utilization monitoring, proper storage, handling, and transportation.

• Strictly observe and enforce cleanliness, orderliness, hygiene, sanitation, infection control, biosafety, and environmental safety measures at all times; maintain spill kits and support the Company’s biosafety program.

• Report abnormal or critical findings promptly to the immediate supervisor and the attending physician as appropriate.

• Print and release laboratory results accurately and within prescribed turnaround times; maintain and update the daily laboratory census.

• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting patients, assisting with the completion of required documents and health records, and ensuring adherence to the Company’s service standards and SOPs.

• Safeguard all laboratory records and data in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other applicable laws and regulations.

• Maintain professional grooming and appearance at all times; loud collars, heavy make-up, and large accessories are strictly prohibited.

• Participate in biological laboratory inspections, biosafety training, and such other activities as may be assigned by management.

• Perform such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Laboratory Department Head or higher management from time to time.

Pay: Php1,000.00 per day
