Job Summary

Acts / Serves as Assistant Site Engineer to the overall execution, coordination, supervision and monitoring of Landev’s Project Management service in various Civil Works design / construction / MEPDS, renovation / fit-out works and other projects being undertaken by Landev Project Management Group 2.

Duties (Responsibilities)

Primary Duties/Functions:

• Execute Project Management Service on a day-to-day basis for each assigned project.
• Prepare Architectural / Civil designs, Shop drawings, lay-outs and plans using CAD as required by the Project Management Team.
• Review, evaluate and interpret Architectural / Civil Plans, Design and Specifications.
• Defining project scoping, project duration, master project schedule, tentative project budgeting for architectural / civil works.
• Provision of technical feasibility studies and value engineering analysis and evaluation relative to architectural / civil works.
• Conduct pre-bid meetings / pre-tender conference with contractors and vendors.
• Regular collaboration with Architect, Consultants, Contractors, Vendors and Clients.
• Conduct Pre-Construction meetings with contractors and vendors.
• Execute and maintain construction management program, project policies, procedures and organizational communication.
• Supervise the RCE, ARCE, ARME, doc controller, contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure that all construction works and activities of the projects are completed within approved costs, time schedules, and the specified quality.
• Conduct weekly construction coordination meeting and/or technical meetings with the contractors, architects and vendors at the project site.
• Oversee / monitor daily toolbox meeting of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors and enforce safety programs on project site.
• Implementation of quality assurance/quality control programs to ensure compliance by the contractors, sub-contractors and vendors in accordance with the drawings, specification and contract documents.
• Monitors contractors, sub-contractor and vendors individual time schedules as compared to the master project schedule.
• Monitor the contractor interfacing and coordinating as necessary for all aspects of the project.
• Monitors the construction works in progress for compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Clarify technical problems, coordinating their resolution with contractor, architect, consultants, and the owner as required.
• Monitor cost for budget impact and regularly monitoring changes and, assist in the periodical updating of budget.
• Reviewing and evaluate applications for progress billing or payments for the contractor and vendors as per approved procedures.
• Review contractor’s change order request for variation in time and cost.
• Prepare Project Accomplishment Reports.
• Monitors contractor’s preparation of as-built plans drawings as the construction work progresses.
• Record all approved deviations and review the AS-BUILT plans which shall be prepared by the CONTRACTOR prior to final drafting. These shall be incorporated in the original drawings, and handed over to the Owner.
• Prepare a punch list (defects lists) of all items of the construction works which require correction after the Project is substantially completed and before the final inspection is made by the Owner.
• Ensure that each item for correction in the punch list is corrected before Initial Acceptance is recommended to the Owner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
