Job Summary:
The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing quality assurance and control procedures on site, ensuring all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures and inspection plans
- Conduct site inspections and testing of works (civil, structural/architectural)
- Prepare and review inspection requests (IR), checklists and quality records
- Identify non-conformances and issue NCRs; monitor corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards such as DPWH and NSCP
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors and consultants
- Witness and document material testing and inspections
- <Maintain QA/QC reports, logs and documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineer; Licensed CE is an advantage
- Experience in QA/QC for construction or structural works
- Knowledge of inspection procedures, testing standards and documentation
- Proficient in reading plans and specifications
