Job Summary
The Software Developer Intern will assist in developing, integrating, and maintaining internal tools and applications, contributing to both back-end and front-end development. The role includes supporting automated testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization, while collaborating with senior developers to ensure high-quality, reliable software in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Tool Development and Integration

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of internal tools and software applications, including both new and existing systems including both new and existing systems.
• Assist in enhancing and optimizing existing tools to improve performance, scalability, and usability.
• Support the integration of internal and third-party systems, APIs, and services to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
• Contribute to code reviews and implement feedback from senior developers to improve code quality.

2. Testing and Automation

• Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software quality.
• Identify, report, and help resolve software defects uncovered during testing.

3. Back-end Support

• Assist in developing and maintaining server-side application logic.
• Assist monitoring backend performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Help implement new back-end features based on product or technical requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established coding standards.

4. Front-end Support

• Identify and report front-end bugs.
• Help Implementing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility across browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari.

5. Debugging and Troubleshooting

• Identify, debug, and resolve back-end bugs and system errors.
• Assist in investigating performance issues and system bottlenecks.
• Support the team in resolving production issues and bug fixes.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Adequate knowledge of the following programming languages, frameworks, and tools: JavaScript, HTML, Node.js, Vue.js, GitLab, Bulma CSS, and/or Bootstrap CSS.
• Excellent problem-solving, logical, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior developers.

Job Type: OJT (On the job training)

Pay: Php65.00 per hour
