Full job description
Teach general education and core subjects; design and deliver learning experiences focused on communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills in alignment with students major creative disciplines; not a traditional teaching role but more training, facilitation and project-based mentoring
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in English/Communication/Humanities/ Social Sciences/ Psychology/Sociology/Education
- At least 3 years of teaching or facilitation experience in higher education or alternative learning environments, familiarity with problem-based learning: Open to learning design thinking, storytelling and new ways of working, comfortable working though messy, open ended learning process.
- Experience in mentoring, coaching or advising students or young professionals
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Can work collaboratively with diverse faculty
- Keen observer of students behavior, learning needs and emotional cues
- Proficient/comfortable using Google Workspace, Miro, Canva, etc. to enhance teaching, communication and student outputs
