Full job description

Remote | Contract Opportunity

Anderson is a growing Australian allied health organisation supporting people across a range of clinical and disability services. We are seeking an experienced and highly capable offshore Allied Health professional to join our support team and assist our Australian clinicians with report preparation, clinical research, information gathering, and written documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Allied Health professional who enjoys working with clinical information, writing, and research, but is looking for a remote role supporting an Australian healthcare team.

About the Role

Working alongside our Australian clinicians, you may assist with:

  • Preparing and drafting sections of allied health reports using information provided by the clinical team.
  • Reviewing clinical notes, assessments, and supporting documentation to extract relevant information.
  • Conducting research into clinical evidence, equipment, products, and recommendations.
  • Assisting with the preparation of Functional Capacity Assessments and other clinical reports.
  • Collating and organising information from multiple clinical and supporting documents.
  • Formatting reports and supporting documentation to a high professional standard.
  • Reviewing documents for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and presentation.
  • Identifying missing information, inconsistencies, or areas requiring further clarification from the treating clinician.
  • Maintaining organised records and supporting documentation for report preparation.
  • Supporting document preparation and workflow processes to help clinicians complete reports efficiently.
  • Completing general research, data gathering, and administrative tasks related to clinical reporting.

The role is primarily independent and task-focused, with information and instructions provided through established workflows. Direct communication with treating clinicians is expected to be limited, with queries raised through proper channels when clarification is genuinely required to maintain accuracy.

You will not be responsible for independently assessing clients, providing clinical advice, making clinical diagnoses, or signing off clinical reports. All clinical decisions, recommendations, and final reports remain the responsibility of the Australian treating clinician.

About You

We are looking for someone who is highly capable, detail-oriented, and confident working with clinical information within structured processes. You will ideally have a university degree in one of the following:

  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech Pathology
  • Psychology
  • Physiotherapy
  • Another recognised Allied Health discipline

Previous experience working in allied health, disability, NDIS, or healthcare is highly regarded, but we are particularly interested in your ability to understand information, follow instructions accurately, and produce high-quality written work.

Key Skills We Are Looking For

You must have:

  • Excellent written English and comprehension skills.
  • Strong ability to understand complex written clinical information.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to established workflows.
  • Excellent grammar and professional writing skills.
  • Ability to interpret clinical information accurately.
  • Strong research and information-gathering skills.
  • Proven ability to follow instructions and templates consistently.
  • Strong computer, document management, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to ask appropriate, targeted questions when information is unclear or incomplete.

The Person We Are Looking For

You may be a qualified Allied Health professional who:

  • Enjoys writing, formatting, and research.
  • Has strong written and analytical skills.
  • Is confident reading clinical documentation.
  • Can understand the purpose and structure of allied health reports.
  • Is comfortable working independently within an established process.
  • Takes pride in producing accurate, professional, and consistent work.
  • Can manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Is willing to learn Australian allied health and NDIS terminology and processes.

Australian clinical experience is not essential. We are willing to train the right person in our specific processes and report requirements.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote work
  • Flexible contract arrangements
  • Opportunity to work with a growing Australian allied health organisation
  • Ongoing work for the right person
  • Structured processes, clear workflows, and training
  • Supportive Australian clinical and administrative team
  • Opportunity to develop your knowledge of Australian allied health and disability services

To Apply

Please submit your:

  • CV
  • University qualification and discipline
  • Brief explanation of your allied health or clinical experience
  • A short written response to the following:
  • Tell us about a time you were given a complex task or clinical workflow that you did not fully understand initially. How did you systematically work through it, and what steps did you take to ensure you produced an accurate result that aligned with instructions?

to: careers@andersonnds.com.au

As this role involves significant written communication, your written response will form an important part of the selection process. We are looking for people who demonstrate excellent English, strong comprehension, precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

Pay: Php300.00 - Php414.77 per hour
