About Masayang Pamilya (MaPa) Organization, Inc.

Masayang Pamilya (MaPa) Organization, Inc. is a SEC-registered non-profit dedicated to strengthening Filipino families through evidence-based parenting programs proven to reduce child maltreatment and promote positive parent–child relationships. The MaPa Program has demonstrated long-term effectiveness through a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) among DSWD 4Ps beneficiaries and continues to expand nationwide.

In partnership with local and international organizations, MaPa is scaling its integrated parenting and child protection initiatives, including efforts to promote online safety and prevent violence against children.

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and mission-driven Project Assistant to support two ongoing family-strengthening and child protection programs.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Assistant will provide administrative, logistical, and operational support to ensure smooth implementation of program activities. Responsibilities include:

Program Support

  • Coordinate with internal teams and local partners during program preparation, implementation, and reporting.
  • Support monitoring activities to ensure deliverables are met according to timelines and targets.
  • Assist in facilitator trainings, coaching sessions, and monitoring and evaluation activities.
  • Help develop program materials such as training tools, documentation templates, and communication resources.
  • Coordinate procurement, disbursement requests, and liquidation with the Finance and Administration Unit.
  • Prepare and organize reports, documentation, attendance sheets, and evaluation tools.

Training, Logistics, and Field Coordination

  • Support training preparations and execution in NCR and nearby regions.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and area focal persons.
  • Assist in monitoring, evaluation, and dissemination activities, including meeting setup and documentation.
  • Support procurement, contracting, payment processing, and staff well-being activities.
  • Ensure timely completion of program deliverables and systematic filing of documents.

Qualifications Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

  • At least one (1) year of experience in administrative or project support roles, preferably in an NGO or development setting.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and collaborative tools.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work well with diverse teams.

Work Arrangement & Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Project Employment
  • Initial Contract: Five (5) months, including a three-month probationary period
  • Renewal: Based on performance and availability of project funds
  • Co-terminus: With project funding or until June 30, 2027
  • Work Setup: Onsite (Quezon City), with occasional field travel
