At E.Tel Mobile, we provide affordable, reliable mobile plans, Travel eSIMs and NBN services to customers in Australia and travellers around the world. As we grow, we’re looking for reliable, empathetic and fast-moving Customer Service Representatives to join our remote team.

This role suits someone who handles high volumes with speed and precision, takes ownership of every customer they help, and is always keen to learn and improve.

What You’ll Do

• Help customers via phone, email, and chat in a friendly, clear and professional way.
• Support customers across multiple product lines, including mobile plans, Travel eSIMs and NBN.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate issue resolution including SIM and eSIM activations, service transfers, billing questions, and service concerns.
• Update and manage customer accounts accurately using internal systems.
• Resolve issues with empathy, speed and precision.
• Handle a high volume of enquiries, staying calm under pressure.
• Assist with onboarding new customers, retaining existing customers, and introducing other products.
• Share feedback with the team to improve processes and the customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year of customer service or BPO/call centre experience (required).
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to explain things clearly.
• Fast and precise: comfortable handling high volumes and multitasking across multiple systems without sacrificing accuracy.
• Ownership: you follow every case through, flag problems early, and fix mistakes fast, never leaving customers hanging.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• High integrity when handling sensitive customer information.
• Proficient with a range of tools like Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, AI, CRMs.
• A learning mindset: keen to keep building your product knowledge and support skills, even after initial training.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts (including evenings/weekends if required).
• Bilingual in Chinese and English is a strong advantage (higher pay offered for bilingual candidates).

Work-from-Home Setup

As an independent contractor, you are responsible for providing and maintaining your own work-from-home setup, including:

• Internet: Stable connection with at least 25 Mbps download.
• Power: A stable power supply and/or backup power (such as a UPS or generator), so you can stay online during brownouts and outages.
• Computer: Intel i5 (or equivalent), 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD minimum.
• Accessories: Webcam + mic + headset.
• Workspace: Quiet and private home office environment.
