Full job description

To help members of Philhealth maximize their benefits. To submit an error free and correct claims for hospital reimbursement.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Checks philhealth status through portal

2. Issues checklist and orient clients regarding requirements

3. Checks case rate package for final diagnosis and procedures.

4. Review entries on Philhealth Forms 1,2,3 and all supporting documents

5. Record monthly discharge in logbook

6. Encode and compiles documents.

7. Prepare transmittal report to be submitted to Philhealth

8. Provide weekly summary of Philhealth patient

9. Monitor and provide weekly report of Philhealth claims of the Ophthalmology Section

10. Assist accreditation of Doctors as required by Philhealth

11. Coordinate with Doctors for diagnosis, type of operation and inform the philhealth rate

12. Provide patient orientation and explain the requirements on how to claim Philhealth.

13. Educate patient of process flow of Philhealth Section.

14. Submit weekly report the status of Phihealth claims or cheque

15. Perform ICD-10 coding and RUV with supervision of Certified ICD-10 coding.

16. Assist and encourage patient in complying the requirements upon and during admission and especially before discharge
