ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY INSTRUCTOR (PART-TIME)

Qualifications

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anatomy, Biology, Nursing, Medical Technology, Medicine, Physical Therapy, or a closely related health sciences field.
  • Applicants with completed Master’s degrees, ongoing Master’s studies, or earned Master’s units are encouraged to apply. Candidates who do not yet have a Master’s degree must be willing to pursue one.
  • At least two (2) years of teaching experience in Anatomy and Physiology or related life and health sciences subjects.
  • Preferably holds relevant professional licensure, certifications, or specialized training, where applicable.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, body systems, and related laboratory or practical activities.
  • Must be comfortable teaching through face-to-face, online, and hybrid modalities and using educational technologies.
  • Demonstrates strong communication, classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Applicants must be based in Antipolo City or nearby areas, preferably within reasonable commuting distance.
  • This is a part-time position requiring willingness to render onsite classes three (3) times per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop syllabi, course outlines, lesson plans, instructional materials, laboratory activities, and examinations for Anatomy and Physiology.
  • Deliver effective Anatomy and Physiology instruction through face-to-face, online, and hybrid modalities.
  • Facilitate laboratory classes, practical exercises, demonstrations, and hands-on activities related to human anatomy and physiological processes.
  • Use appropriate models, anatomical specimens, laboratory equipment, visual aids, and digital learning resources to support student understanding.
  • Assess student learning through quizzes, examinations, practical assessments, laboratory activities, assignments, and other appropriate evaluation methods.
  • Provide academic consultation, guidance, and timely feedback to students.
  • Maintain accurate class records, encode grades, and submit academic requirements within prescribed deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, academic standards, and laboratory and classroom safety protocols.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, accreditation activities, research initiatives, and other academic programs as required.
  • Respond promptly to student academic concerns and inquiries.
  • Perform other related academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular duties assigned by the Program Head.
