We are looking for teachers who are interested to be a part of our team of tutors. You will be teaching English to Japanese and/or Taiwanese students from kids to adults. A majority of our students are working professionals.

You will have the freedom to choose your own schedules as long as you can include these certain requirements:

• Must be able to open classes on Saturdays and Sundays (5 hours per day).
• Can also teach more lessons on weekdays.
• No specific time is required, can open classes from 5AM to 11:30PM.
• Free ESL training with *Signing bonus and Newbies' bonus 1-3 (Once you graduate from training)

Qualifications:

• Have a good command of the English language or be able to communicate in English.
• Finished at least 2nd year college. College graduate is preferred.
• Must be tech-savvy (knows how to use communication platforms like MS Teams)
• Must be willing to be trained.
• Must be willing to register as a freelancer with the BIR and get a COR.

The following are a plus, but they are not required:

• Background in ESL
• TESOL Certificate
• Knowledge in Japanese (Nihonggo)

Requirements:

• Stable and unlimited post-paid internet; connection via WIFI or LAN cable is fine (internet must be private connection and can have access to the router)
• Minimum upload and download speed of at least 5-10 MBPS.
• Prepaid internet, pocket WIFI or mobile tethering are NOT allowed.
• Must own a desktop/laptop of at least 8GB RAM (Windows are ideal. You may use Mac, but you must invest in your own call recorder).
• Webcam (Built-in or external is fine).
• Headset with a stick-type microphone.
• Quiet and private room (Bedroom, Study Room, and Private Office are okay; no teaching in common areas)

Noted: All of the system requirements must be personally owned.

During the interview, we will check your RDO (Revenue District Office/BIR branch), and applicants who will pass will need to update their RDO (in case their TIN isn't registered in the RDO based on their residence). The update is a prerequisite to join the training. If you don't have a TIN yet, please disregard this.

Salary: Our base rate is PHP 55/lesson (a lesson is good for 25 minutes). In an hour, you can earn PHP 110 but this can also increase through the following incentives if you can meet the standard set by the company:

• Japanese speaker incentive
• Performance incentive - may go up every 3 months depending on the tutor's performance

Training Schedule and Details:

• Training will be done online via MS Teams.
• Our training program includes both asynchronous and synchronous training.
