Full job description

Role Responsibilities

  • Foster a courteous, supportive, and student-friendly communication environment during all academic interactions.
  • Address chemistry-related questions efficiently and with precision, diagnosing conceptual misunderstandings and learning gaps.
  • Provide logically organized, easy-to-follow explanations using appropriate methods such as reaction pathways, numerical illustrations, chemical equations, and visual representations when required.
  • Participate in follow-up academic discussions to confirm comprehension, adjusting instructional methods based on the student’s educational background and learning needs.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Chemistry at the senior secondary level, including Physical, Organic, Inorganic, or integrated chemistry courses.
  • Working knowledge of international academic frameworks such as IB, Cambridge CAIE (IGCSE, A-Level), AP, or comparable curricula is highly desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a learner-focused and empathetic teaching approach.
