Role Overview / Purpose

We are seeking a Fractional IT Support Specialist to provide reliable, proactive, and practical IT support across our global team. This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who enjoys working in a flexible, part-time capacity, supporting a fast-paced, tech-enabled business. The role will focus on day-to-day support, systems administration, automation, and continuous improvement, ensuring our team can operate efficiently and securely across NZ, AU, and UK time zones

Key Responsibilities

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Set up and configure new user accounts in Google Workspace and other SaaS platforms
  • Provision system access aligned with role requirements and security best practices
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes securely
Systems Troubleshooting & Support
  • Provide first-line support for Google Workspace and Monday.com
  • Resolve day-to-day IT issues and escalate where required
Automation Support
  • Build and maintain automations using Make.com and Zapier
  • Identify and implement process improvements
Website Maintenance
  • Perform updates and coordinate with developers as needed
General IT Operations
  • Manage permissions, security (MFA), and SaaS subscriptions
  • Maintain documentation and support data governance
  • Liaise with external vendors
  • Identify efficiency improvements
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven IT support experience (fractional/MSP/SME preferred)
  • Strong Google Workspace administration knowledge
  • Experience with CRM (Monday.com), & automation (Make.com and/or Zapier)
  • CMS experience (WordPress/Webflow/Squarespace)
  • Strong communication skills
Desirable
  • Experience in construction or professional services
  • Cybersecurity knowledge
  • Familiarity with Xero, Slack, Microsoft 365, DocuSign
Work Schedule and Arrangement
  • Fractional / Contract role
  • ~5 hours per week (flexible)
  • Fully remote
  • Supports NZ, AU, UK time zones
  • Reports to Operations Manager / Director
  • Equipment will be provided by the company
  • Candidates are expected to have a stable/reliable internet connection at home with at least 20MBPS for both download and upload speed.
