Sateco Philippines Inc is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Engineering Intern / OJT to join our Research Development and Engineering team. Based in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, this internship offers an exceptional opportunity to gain practical experience in engineering whilst working alongside experienced professionals. As an intern, you will contribute to real engineering projects, develop your technical skills, and gain valuable insights into the mechanical engineering industry. Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of mechanical components and systems using CAD software and engineering principles
• Support senior engineers in conducting technical calculations, simulations and testing procedures
• Participate in the preparation of technical documentation, reports and drawings for engineering projects
• Conduct research on materials, manufacturing processes and industry best practices relevant to current projects
• Assist in the development and testing of products
• Support quality assurance activities and help identify areas for process improvement
• Participate in site visits and inspections when required, observing mechanical systems in operation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges and meet project deadlines
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed and findings

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering course
• Strong understanding of fundamental engineering concepts, including mechanics, thermodynamics and materials science
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar programmed
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical problems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare clear technical documentation
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all engineering work
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in a professional engineering environment
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, project management or quality control would be advantageous
