Treasury Intern: Role Description and Task Assignment

Work Schedule: 8hours/day

1. Purpose of the Internship

The Treasury Intern supports the Treasury Department in daily cash, banking, and payment operations while gaining practical exposure to core treasury functions.

The internship is a structured learning experience, and tasks are assigned according to the intern's course, skills, and the department's needs.

2. Qualifications

• Open for voluntary internship
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of Accountancy, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related course
• Basic understanding of accounting and banking concepts
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Accurate, organized, and able to meet deadlines
• Willing to observe strict confidentiality and follow internal controls

3. Key Responsibilities and Task Assignments

Records, Reporting, and Special Projects

• File, scan, and organize treasury documents in physical and digital form
• Prepare data summaries and reports in Excel

Rules and Internal Controls

• Interns must sign a confidentiality agreement before handling any treasury records.
• All work prepared by the intern must be reviewed and approved by the supervisor before release or filing as final.
• Interns follow company policies on attendance, dress code, and workplace conduct.
• Questions and concerns are raised with the assigned point person.

Supervision and Evaluation

• Weekly check-in: Review of completed tasks and upcoming deadlines
• Mid-internship review: Feedback on performance and adjustments to assignments
• Final evaluation: Rating of accuracy, quality of work, initiative, reliability, communication, and adherence to confidentiality and internal controls, followed by a feedback session

Job Types: OJT (On the job training), Fresh graduate

Pay: Php500.00 per day
