Position Summary

The Architectural Apprentice / Junior Architect supports the company in the design, documentation, coordination, and delivery of architectural, interior design, construction, procurement, anda related project works.

The role requires a high level of collaboration, attention to detail, professionalism, accountability, and care for the success of each project, regardless of size or scope. The employee is expected to work under the guidance of senior architects, project leads, and management, while progressively developing the ability to contribute independently across different stages of architectural and construction work.

The employee understands that the company handles both Philippine-based and international projects, and that work may involve design, drafting, documentation, presentations, coordination, construction support, procurement support, and other related works within the architecture, construction, and built environment industry.

Scope of Work

The employee may be assigned to various works within the architecture, interior design, construction, and built environment industry, whether for Philippine-based or international projects. The scope of work may include, but is not limited to:

a. Architectural design, interior design, space planning, and design development.

b. Pre-design services, site studies, research, feasibility support, design briefs, programming, and concept studies.

c. Schematic design, design development, construction documentation, technical drawings, specifications, schedules, and drawing coordination.

d. Architectural interiors, furniture, fixtures, equipment, millwork, joinery, modular works, display design, retail design, hospitality design, residential design, commercial design, and other specialized design services.

e. 3D modeling, visualization support, rendering coordination, presentation decks, design reports, investment decks, client decks, and other visual communication materials.

f. Coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, lessors, project managers, and other project stakeholders.

g. Pre-construction support, tender or quotation assistance, bid coordination, contractor coordination, value engineering, and procurement-related support.

h. Construction phase support, site visits, site documentation, punch listing, progress coordination, clarification of drawings, and assistance in resolving construction-related design concerns.

i. Post-construction support, close-out documentation, as-built coordination, turnover assistance, and project completion reports.

j. Procurement support, supplier research, material sourcing, quotation coordination, sample coordination, cost comparison, and related documentation.

k. Code, compliance, permit, landlord, mall, building administration, and authority-related documentation support, as applicable to the project.

l. Physical planning, site development planning, master planning support, spatial strategy, and other related planning or built-environment services.

m. Administrative, coordination, research, presentation, and documentation tasks necessary for the successful delivery of architectural, interior, construction, and related projects.

e. Effectiveness of communication with teammates, project leads, clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and external collaborators.

f. Responsiveness to project deadlines, urgent requirements, coordination needs, and changing project priorities.

g. Ability to coordinate across different project stages, including concept, design, documentation, procurement, construction, and post-construction.

h. h. Quality of presentations, reports, emails, messages, and other written or visual communication.

j. Care for the success of each project, regardless of size, scope, or assigned role.

k. Accuracy of site documentation, measurements, reports, markups, punch lists, and construction support documents.

m. Growth in technical skills, software proficiency, design understanding, construction knowledge, coordination ability, and professional judgment.

n. General willingness and demonstrated effort to grow as a professional within the architecture, design, construction, and built environment industry.

Job Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or any related field required for the position.

· Graduate of a reputable architecture or design program.

· Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

· Previous internship, apprenticeship, short-term work experience, drafting experience, site exposure, or relevant architecture/design experience is preferred.

· Experience in architectural, interior, retail, hospitality, residential, commercial, or site projects.

· Experience working with contractors, suppliers, consultants, or construction teams.

· Interest in growing within architecture, construction, interiors, design management, documentation, procurement, or project coordination.

· Experience with BIM, CAD, Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, rendering, or other architectural software.

· Creative skills such as photography, manual drafting, model-making, graphic design, or presentation design.

Skills and Competencies

· Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant architectural, design, presentation, or productivity tools.

· Knowledge of Revit, BIM, rendering software, project management tools, or other technical software is an advantage.

· Strong drafting, design, visual communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

· Strong communication, teamwork, coordination, organization, and time management skills.

· Ability to understand instructions, receive feedback, process comments, and revise work accordingly.

· Basic knowledge of building codes, construction methods, materials, detailing, site coordination, and project documentation.

· Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple assigned tasks, and respond professionally to urgent project requirements.

· Professional attitude, attention to detail, initiative, accountability, care for quality, and willingness to learn.

· Ability to work with both local and international teams, standards, formats, and project requirements.

· Ability to prepare clear written communication, reports, presentations, emails, and project updates.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
