Full job description
The Food Server is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to restaurant guests, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience, managing the flow of service in the restaurant and training of junior servers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and seat them at their tables
- Assist with menu recommendations and specials
- Take customer orders and ensure accuracy
- Oversee the flow of service, ensuring that courses are served at the appropriate times
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and courteous manner
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns
- Assist with clearing tables and resetting for new customers
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
- Provide guidance and training to junior servers
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager
- Upsell to customers
- Implements and makes sure that the sequence of service is followed
- Embodies the core values of the brand and lives this
