About the Role

Job Title: Barista

Reports to: Store Manager/ Operations Manager

Work Schedule: Shifting Schedule

Work Location: KOPI KENANGAN - SM MALL OF ASIA

This role requires crafting and serving high-quality beverages and providing excellent customer service.

• Prepare a variety of beverages, especially coffees and specialty drinks, following Kopi Kenangan recipes and quality standards.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, confident, and efficient manner. Answer customers' questions about menu items and offer recommendations. Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and serving areas. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation.
• Work quickly and accurately during busy periods to keep up with customer orders. Handle multiple tasks, such as taking orders, preparing drinks, and handling cash or card transactions.
• Stay informed about Kopi Kenangan's menu offerings, including seasonal items and promotions. Make suggestions and upsell additional items when appropriate.

About You

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience as a barista is REQUIRED; additional training may be provided.
• With experience with hot and cold drinks preparations, including latte art is a plus.
• Knowledge on how to operate coffee machines/equipments and with knowledge on beverages sanitary procedures is also a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
• Attention to detail for beverage preparation and presentation.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
