• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Assists patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Performs Therapeutic Sitz Bath (TSB) as instructed.
• Assists in the application of ice packs and hot/cold compresses.
• Provides perineal care to obstetric (OB) and bedridden patients.
• Performs concurrent and terminal disinfection in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Assists staff nurses in providing post-mortem care.
• Promotes and maintains a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Ensures the cleanliness, availability, and proper placement of patients’ linens.
• Secures bedside rails and implements appropriate safety measures to prevent patient falls and injuries.
• Serves and removes bedpans, urinals, emesis basins, and other patient care items as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of patients’ rooms and surroundings.
• Ensures the continuous availability of boiled water in the designated percolator.
• Performs assigned housekeeping duties, including cleaning of refrigerators, microwave ovens, and other unit facilities and equipment.
• Maintains the cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness of the nursing unit.
• Consistently observes and applies standard/universal precautions and infection prevention and control measures.
• Implements appropriate measures to help prevent healthcare-associated (nosocomial) infections.
• Assists in preparing patients for treatments, examinations, procedures, and surgery.
• Performs simple enemas as instructed and within the scope of assigned duties.
• Verifies and cross-checks patient specimen information with the staff nurse, including urine, stool, and sputum specimens, prior to submission to the Laboratory Department.
• Responds promptly and appropriately to patients requiring assistance.
• Checks, maintains, and ensures the availability and proper condition of equipment, instruments, linens, and other ward supplies.

Qualifications

• College Graduate of any course or Undergraduate
• TESDA NC II in Caregiving
• Must have experience with Caregiving
• Strong attention to details and analytical skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and patient care

Pay: From Php20,850.00 per month
