Position Description
The Medical Account Executive is critical to Rockpoint's mission of providing fast, reliable medical funding for personal injury cases. This position acts as the primary liaison between Rockpoint, medical providers, law firms, and patients, ensuring seamless coordination throughout the entire funding cycle. You will be responsible for managing 70-120 medical funding cases simultaneously, ensuring accuracy, urgency, and full compliance. Core duties include coordinating medical scheduling, processing funding requests, managing billing, calculating payments, and ensuring meticulous documentation. This high-volume role requires proactive communication, strong relationship management, and meticulous attention to detail to deliver high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to patients and medical providers by maintaining clear, timely, and empathetic communication throughout the lifecycle of each case.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all case documentation, including medical estimates, operative reports, billing statements, pricing and payment information, and lien agreements.
- Assisting in preparing and coordinating the execution of various contracts needed for a procedure.
- Process funding requests efficiently while adhering to internal quality standards, turnaround times, and compliance protocols.
- Support cross-functional collaboration with underwriting, legal, operations and provider relations teams to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
- Working with medical facilities to obtain billing information for timely payment
- Monitoring and staying informed of all active and pending medical applications. Keeping applications moving continuously
- Maintaining detailed and accurate notes on medical applications
- Accurately entering payment information and processing funding
- Managing incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails regarding surgeries and other procedures
- Cross-selling products and services based on customer needs
- Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Reliable laptop with 8GB+ RAM
- High-speed internet (60 Mbps or higher)
- C1–C2 English proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
- A dedicated and quiet workspace
- Second monitor and noise-canceling headphones
- 3+ years of experience in a similar professional or client-facing role
- Experience in personal injury, legal procedures, and medical terminology
- Working knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and proper handling of PHI
- High accuracy in computer and data-entry tasks (Google Workspace)
- Demonstrated commitment to producing high-quality, error-free work

$7 to $8 USD per hour; DOE
