About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Medical Scribe to join our team, supporting healthcare providers in a psychiatric care setting. The ideal candidate has prior experience in psychiatric documentation, with particular familiarity in inpatient psychiatry, and is ready to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately document patient encounters in real-time, including psychiatric evaluations, mental status exams, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Chart inpatient psychiatric assessments, medication management notes, and discharge summaries with precision
  • Maintain up-to-date and compliant patient records in accordance with clinical documentation standards
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely documentation
  • Adapt to the pace and terminology specific to psychiatric and behavioral health settings
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA or equivalent)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Medical Scribe, preferably within a psychiatric or behavioral health setting
  • Familiarity with inpatient psychiatry workflows strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of psychiatric terminology, mental status exams, and treatment documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time and start immediately
  • Must be based in the Philippines
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office setup (if remote)

Nice to have but not required:

- Preferably with BPO experience
- Experience in Electronic Medical/Health Record
- Experienced working as Medical Scribe/Medical VA is A PLUS!
- HIPAA Certified

Non-negotiable system requirements:

- Operating System: Windows 10 Home
- CPU: Intel Core i3 (at least 6th generation or similar)
- Memory: at least 4GB RAM
- Internet subscription: At least 10mbps (DSL/Fiber only)
