Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Virtual Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant to join a Cardiology Associates practice supporting a U.S.-based healthcare provider.

Position Details

  • Position: Virtual Medical Scribe (Cardiology)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Pacific Standard Time (PST)
  • Location: Remote (Philippines-based applicants only)

Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time medical scribing support for a cardiology practice.
  • Document patient encounters accurately in EPIC.
  • Process Prior Authorizations for medications, procedures, and referrals.
  • Perform Insurance Verification before patient appointments.
  • Maintain accurate and HIPAA-compliant documentation.
  • Support providers with administrative and clinical documentation tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Virtual Medical Scribe or Medical Assistant.
  • Hands-on experience using EPIC EMR.
  • Proven experience with Prior Authorization and Insurance Verification.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace.

Preferred

  • Experience working with a Cardiology practice.
  • Familiarity with U.S. healthcare workflows and medical terminology.

Pay: Php18,186.87 - Php47,988.79 per month
